S-s-s-summer smoothie! This one is very fresh and creamy, filling and nutritious! I often find that fruity smoothies are lovely snacks, but not very filling as a meal. With the added cashew nuts, coconut oil and avocado, this smoothie contains enough sources of good fats to serve as lunch in a glass. I often use frozen blueberries as they are super high in antioxidants, which fight harmful free radicals and protect our bodies against several types of chronic diseases.
Be sure to use a ripe avocado for added creaminess.

Berry Creamy Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup activated cashew nuts
- 2 cups frozen berries
- 1½ peeled & frozen bananas
- ½ avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 2½ cups water
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- ½ tablespoon collagen powder (omit if vegan/vegetarian)
- ¼ teaspoon Himalayan salt
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on high until a smooth consistency is reached.
- Enjoy cold!
