Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo

I’ll be honest, dry shampoo-ing was a new concept to me until recently. I remember in boarding school one of my roommates used to put baby powder on her hair on the dirty-hair-no-wash days, but it was only until recently that I became aware of the fact that there are actually dry shampoo products sold out there. Call me old school but I just always used to wash dirty hair.

So what is dry shampoo? It is a powder form of shampoo that is used without water, and it reduces the appearance of oil and grease in your hair. The conventional form of dry shampoo is usually administered from an aerosol can, and contains toxic and potentially carcinogenic chemicals like talc, parabens & fragrances.

The good news? Make your own with simple and affordable and best of all, non-toxic, ingredients.

So, for those days when you need a hair wash but don’t have time, or, for those of you who don’t want to wash your hair that often to protect the natural oils… Try our dry shampoo! I’m a believer! It really works, removing the appearance of oil on your hair without leaving it dull or powdery.
