Need we say more? This creamy and dark chocolate milk is an absolute favourite in our house. We heart chocolate milk!
Paleo Chocolate Milk
- 3 cups coconut milk or nut milk of choice
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 5 pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend on 3 for 3-4 minutes, until ingredients are well mixed.
You are welcome to add more dates if you have a sweeter tooth. Don’t blend on too high as the chocolate milk will come out frothy. I like to make the coconut milk right before making the chocolate milk, which means the coconut milk is still warm and makes for a wonderfully smooth and creamy hot chocolate.
